AZUMA Junior Pro Staffer Grady Maynard brought home a second place finish and the big bass award on Lake Toho over this past weekend.
He caught his fish on the Shaker-Z and they seemed to be favoring the Silver Knight color. The Silver Knight bait is a standard color that many hard bait companies have, the AZUMA version has a gold cheek to give it a little pop.
Grady seems to be have a great year so far.
Even though it was tough this past weekend on Johns Lake, Grady Maynard, a Junior Angler, managed to get a keeper on Saturday in the Florida Trails event. ”Suprisingly that one fish won me the tournament and big bass, I caught it on a Shaker-z Blue Herring.”

Gary Carter, AZUMA pro staff, fished the American Bass Anglers division 29 tournament on Saturday January 23. The event took place on Lake Guntersville in Alabama. A side note if anyone of your have not had the chance to fish Lake Guntersville, I highly recommend it. Gary caught a huge 5 fish limit weighing 30.45 lbs which easily won him 1st place. He also won big fish for the event with 8.10 lbs. He reported back to us that all of his fish including the big fish were caught on the Shaker Z except one.
They were caught on colors Aztec and White Tiger. The tournament Director told him it was the heaviest 5 fish limit ever weighed for this Division.

We just got some fantastic pictures in from Clint. He fishes in both Alabama and in Georgia and caught some great fish on his new AZUMA baits. The fish featured here was caught at Chambers County State Lake in Alabama, he also caught some the following day at Blalock lakes in Newman, Georgia. Martin Bozeman with his catch!
We just received a great picture from Martin and Dustin Bozeman. They were recently fishing at Lake Toho and were trying out some of our baits and caught this bass on on of our Aztec Shaker-Z. Aztec was not very popular when we placed our first order so we currently carry it only in the Shaker-Z bait. However quite a few people who have been helping us with product development have found this color really works. This color went through some modifications prior to final production, we extended the orange down further and changed the finish from a gloss to a matte finish. These suggestions came from Chris and Bobby Lane who both fish the BASSmaster Elite Series. Bobby recently on the last BASS Elite event in Tennessee.
