We just received a great picture from Martin and Dustin Bozeman. They were recently fishing at Lake Toho and were trying out some of our baits and caught this bass on on of our Aztec Shaker-Z. Aztec was not very popular when we placed our first order so we currently carry it only in the Shaker-Z bait. However quite a few people who have been helping us with product development have found this color really works. This color went through some modifications prior to final production, we extended the orange down further and changed the finish from a gloss to a matte finish. These suggestions came from Chris and Bobby Lane who both fish the BASSmaster Elite Series. Bobby recently on the last BASS Elite event in Tennessee.

Craw Tiger, Fire Tiger & White Tiger Now Available!

As promised here is an image of our new color line. Chris Lane fished the White Tiger in the Shaker at the last B.A.S.S. Elite event and led the event for the first few days and came in with a third place finish. Congratulations Chris! Currently White Tiger is only offered in the Shaker-Z, but will be available in other styles soon.

After a couple weeks of testing our shopping cart is officially open. Simply click on the SHOP in the button bar on the Azuma site. We have two shipping options right now FedEx 2Day, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery. Ground service /Home Delivery will take from 1 to 5 days. We are offering this type of shipping because you will receive a tracking number and can follow your package.

Product Has Arrived

New Natural Bluegill & Bass Shown in the Shaker-Z

Hi Everyone!

We are very excited, we have received our first shipment in and are finishing up testing to make sure that the production run has met all of our standards.

We are testing the shopping cart and it will be ready for you to make purchases next week. I will send an email out to all of you who have signed up to receive one.

In addition, I will be posting 3 new colors that we have developed, since launching our line July of last year.

Yesterday, Dickie was invited to attend an event at Sandy’s Bait and Tackle and was thrilled to see so many anglers and get such wonderful feedback.

Lane Brothers Sign On With AZUMA

The Lane Brothers of Lakeland, Florida have signed on to fish with AZUMA baits. The three brothers, Bobby, Chris and Arnie, have been fishing with the baits for months and have helped develop a few new colors to be announced in March 2009.

Chris and Bobby both participate in the BASS Elite Series as well as the opens, while Arnie is new to being a pro angler and has started fishing the BASS opens. Bobby most recently finished 16th at the 2009 BassMaster Classic ahead of fishing greats Kevin VanDam, Shaw Grisby and Dean Rojas.

With product arriving just around the corner we have several new dealers that have signed on to carry our product line. CB’s Saltwater Outfitters in Sarasota, FL and Tarpon Tom’s in Palm Harbor, FL. These dealers will be among the first to carry our line of hard baits as well as our Stinky Bait Box.

 

AZUMA featured in BassMasters Magazine

We are very excited to see such great publications as BassMaster’s Magazine and Fishing Tackle Retailer have been featuring our new brand. We are getting tons of calls from anglers asking about our products and the response from everyone is great! We are taking email address and will be emailing anyone that is interested in our baits as soon as they arrive at the beginning of March. Welcome!

Hi Everyone and welcome to the new AZUMA website, I am going to start our blogs with an introduction to our team. The AZUMA team has been assembled to develop products in all tackle categories and is comprised of owner and innovator, Dickie Herbst, who previously served as the idea man and owner of XTOOLS. And of course myself, Melissa Link, I own Savvy Cats Design & Marketing and previously handled marketing for XTOOLS, I will be serving as Director of Operations & Marketing.

 

All of us will be posting to this blog at various times. We will try to update this quite regularly with questions we receive from anglers, new product information, new dealers opening, and all kinds of other topics.

 

We’re off to ICAST right now for the unveiling of our new brand, hope to see lots of you there.
